Port Washington is a beautiful community nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan, amongst seven surrounding hills. Established in 1835, the city has a wonderful mix of work and play opportunities. From one of the areas largest charter fishing fleets to a wide section of dining and shopping options, you will never run out of things to do in Port Washington!
The Port Washington Main Street Program represents over 120 downtown business and building owners located in downtown Port Washington, Wisconsin. Our organization plans and executes business promotion programs, business education programs, business recruitment/retention and historic preservation through a dedicated group of dedicated volunteers. In the past two years as a Wisconsin Main Street Community we have seen 10 new businesses, award-winning business promotions, new and current business incentive programs, historic design guidelines and new sense of community in the downtown. Farmers Market Saturdays, July 3 - Oct. 30, 2010
In downtown Port Washington on Main Street, over 30 vendors will provide fresh vegetables, fruits and bakery; plants and crafts. Enjoy mornings at the lakefront and once in a while music and entertainment! Support the Port Washington Soccer Club while enjoying a "Bernie's Meats" Brat or Burger and make sure to purchase your tote bag (all proceeds to the Port Washington Main Street Program) to fill on your next visit. See you at the market!
